1. Information we collect
To provide reliable executive transportation, we collect the following:
- Booking data: pickup and drop-off locations, dates, times, flight numbers, passenger count, luggage, and special requests.
- Account information: name, email, phone number, and password (stored as a one-way hash).
- Corporate account data: company name, billing contact, authorized travelers, cost centers, and travel policy preferences.
- Payment information: card details are entered directly with our PCI-compliant payment processor — we never store full card numbers on our servers.
- Device & browser information: IP address, browser type, device type, and basic usage data needed to keep the site secure and performant.
2. How we use your information
- To confirm, dispatch, and complete your booking.
- To send trip confirmations, chauffeur details, receipts, and service updates.
- To improve routing, on-time performance, and overall service quality.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized account access.
- To support corporate clients with reporting, invoicing, and account management.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
3. Payment handling
Payments are processed by trusted third-party processors such as Stripe. Your card information is transmitted directly to the processor over a secure connection. We retain only the minimum tokenized reference required to manage your booking, issue receipts, and process refunds.
5. Corporate account considerations
If you book through a corporate account, your employer or designated administrator may have access to trip-level information (date, route, traveler, total fare) for billing, reporting, and travel-policy compliance. We do not share location history or personal communications with corporate administrators.
6. Data retention
We retain booking and account records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations (typically up to 7 years for financial records). You may request deletion of your account at any time — see "Your rights" below.
7. Security practices
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, hashed passwords, role-based access controls, and regular security review of our backend infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with the seriousness our clients expect.
8. Your rights & contact requests
You may request to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Export your booking history in a portable format.
- Opt out of non-essential marketing communications.
Email reservations@globaltowncar.com and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Third-party services
We rely on a small set of vetted providers to operate our service: payment processing (Stripe), mapping & address lookup (Google Maps Platform), email delivery, secure backend infrastructure, and analytics. Each is bound by its own privacy terms and is granted access only to the data required to perform its function.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, a notice in your account.
